Marshall Crenshaw

Marshall Crenshaw

Of the all the fine musicians to emerge in the early 1980s, few could match the brilliant songwriting of Marshall Crenshaw, as evidenced by his eponymous 1982 debut — considered by many as a pop masterpiece. A wonderful guitarist and dynamic performer, Marshall is also an actor, having played John Lennon in Beatlemania and Buddy Holly in La Bamba. His string of hits and classics is remarkable, including "Someday Someway," "Cynical Girl," "Whenever You're On My Mind," and "You’re My Favorite Waste of Time," among others. His website offers a subscription service with a steady stream of Marshall's new music available as downloads or top-grade vinyl discs.

“With a JangleBox you can turn your sound into a Brick Wall of Determination, focus it like a laser beam that'll cut through anything. I love how it does what it does.”
