Roger
McGuinn
You simply cannot overstate the influence on popular music of Rock and
Roll Hall of Famer and founder of the Byrds, Roger McGuinn. Through timeless
Byrds’ classics like “Turn! Turn! Turn!,” “Eight
Miles High,” and “Mr. Tambourine Man,” he essentially
invented the concept of jangle guitar. In his more than four-decade career,
Roger has explored a vast array of music, but he continues to mine the
jangle sound today with his signature Rickenbacker 370-12RM. |

I tried your wonderful
JangleBox with my 370/12RM using the non-compressed setting
on the guitar. It sounded just like the built-in compressor!
Over the years, I’ve received a lot of e-mail from guitarists
asking me to recommend a compressor that got the Byrds’ sound.
This is the box everyone has been looking for! I love it! I’m
taking it on the road to use in place of the Line6 POD.” |
